At Lavender Oaks Farm, we are proud to be preserving a part of American history with our two historic timber frame barns that have been lovingly and meticulously restored. Our Lavender Barn, circa 1900, is rustic, yet refined, and its heirloom veil white exterior graciously highlights the regal purple of the lavender fields. At 6,760 sq ft, a walk inside will transport you to days gone by of hand hewn beams accented with wrought iron and historic fixtures. We are honored to have transported this historic barn from Bucyrus, OH where it graced the land of the Weir family for over a century. It is the home of our Lavender Oaks Farm Shoppe and a magnificent place to create our line of organic lavender products. Two enchanting retreat rooms, a kitchen, two spacious restrooms, and a 1,000 sq ft loft create a timeless setting and pays homage to the beauty of our lavender. Our Pavilion Barn, circa 1865, is a 1,320 sq ft, open-air, restored hand hewn oak timber frame barn and is adjacent to our Lavender Barn and fields. Our historic barns beckon to provide a tranquil escape to breath in the peaceful vista of lavender surrounded by majestic oaks, tulip poplar, and loblolly pine trees. A third historic timber frame barn will be, “Old Macdonald’s Barn” and restored as our private farmstead, set to be complete in 2018. We invite you to subscribe and follow our restoration progress on our Blog and hope you’ll plan to schedule a tour to experience all Lavender Oaks Farm has to offer.
